Customers Choose to Go Green to Save Planet and Money

(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 24, 2012 ) United Kingdom -- Solar Panels Prices is offering customers the chance to save money on their energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint with the installation of solar panels. Thanks to the innovative quote system which has been put in place, customers can save up to 75% off initial installation and benefit from solar panels grants which pay homeowners for the energy they generate.

People across the nation are becoming increasingly conscious of the consequences of climate change and indeed, the economic downturn. In an attempt to combat both, homeowners are installing solar panels on their home.

It was announced last week that the Feed-In Tariff would be cut from 43.3p per kilowatt to 21p per kilowatt in March of this year. Thus, many homeowners are frantically trying to get their solar panels installed before the given date in order to benefit from the higher tariff.

The Feed-In Tariff is a governmental solar panels grant which pays homeowners for energy generated through the solar panels. Any unused electricity can be sold back to the energy supplier. WhatÂ’s more, homeowners save money on their energy bills as less is needed thanks to self generation.

Homeowners wishing to take advantage of the higher Feed-In Tariff and save money on their installation are invited to visit SolarPanels-Prices.co.uk where more information on advantages can be found.
